#BeKind Challenge
This month is all about adopting some extra behaviours towards being more kind! There seems to be so much darkness, fear, paranoia, violence and cruelty in the media at the moment. Let’s work together to break some of these behaviours, defences, and barriers down and instead open up some of the sunshine flood-gates. Get to work with spreading some well-needed joy, happiness, and positivity this month with this 31 Day Challenge:
Will you take the pledge?
Day 1
Buy a coffee for the person behind you/ buy the meal for the table next to you.
Day 2
Buy something to give to a homeless person you see on your daily commute.
Day 3
Compliment someone.
Day 4
Buy your friend/family member/partner a small gift.
Day 5
Google a random address and send them an anonymous letter filled with positivity and kind words/quotes/tips for motivation/positive life hacks/fun facts etc. Get creative but don’t be creepy!
Day 6
Offer to dog walk/babysit for someone.
Day 7
Tell someone how much you appreciate them. Detail the reasons why.
Day 8
Apologise for something that has always bothered you, which never got resolved.
Day 9
Invite someone over and cook them a meal.
Day 10
Offer to help someone elderly shop.
Day 11
Leave an honest and positive review for something you bought/experienced/attended.
Day 12
Volunteer.
Day 13
Let people go in front of you/hold door open/offer the last of something to someone.
Day 14
Leave a big tip or write compliment on the receipt if you can’t afford to tip generously!
Day 15
Leave change somewhere.
Day 16
Donate old belongings to charity.
Day 18
Visit or send a note to an old teacher/boss that positively impacted you.
Day 19
Buy or make a toy for your pet or child.
Day 20
Do some extra chores for someone.
Day 21
Treat yourself to a beauty/self-care treatment/experience/product (because being kind to yourself is also important!)
Day 22
Make a scrap book for someone you love.
Day 23
Ask someone how they are REALLY doing and dedicate some quality time to listen to them and spend some real time with them.
Day 24
Bake a cake for work or school!
Day 25
Pick up litter.
Day 26
Check in with an elderly relative.
Day 27
Smile at everyone.
Day 28
Pay it forward at your drive-through.
Day 29
Write down 10 things you love and admire about yourself.
Day 30
Drop off old blankets/pillows/towels at a local animal shelter.
Day 31
Print or write out some inspirational quotes and messages for people to find around in public!
