COVID-19 Support

#WeWillOvercome

COVID-19 continues to disrupt so much of our lives and has caused significant distress in a multitude of ways. From panic buyers to loss of jobs and loved ones, to the spread of misinformation and high levels of anxiety – this has not been a fun time. For many people, quarantine and social distancing has significantly affected mental health and triggered tremendous amounts of loneliness, paranoia, and fear. Therefore, whilst many of us ride it out in isolation, an amazing team of volunteers have banded together to offer you a safe section; where you can find information that is informative and helpful, without agenda or bias - and above all else, makes you feel good.

Content is continually being added and updated whilst we wade our way through the pandemic - from how to keep safe, to fun activities to do in your home, fact busting, instructional videos, activities, and mental health support. This section features content and support from a variety of people, including items from our featured writers, instructors, people just like you, and professionals from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines.

If you would like to volunteer and contribute to this section, please read the letter below ‘Your People Need You’ for more information and fill out the form here to register your interest.

“And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved for their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.”

Bored in quarantine? Try out some of these cool ideas!

COVID-19 has forced many of us lately to stay isolated in our homes, defer our social events and life plans. For many of us this is an incredibly daunting, boring, and lonely time. There is only so many times we can scroll through social media, contemplate starting that workout we’ve been putting off, and wear the same pyjamas – ew, gross.
